Optical Interferometry (OI) works under data sparse conditions. Our group works to develop novel techniques for image reconstruction using observerables from OI.

How do evolved stars impact their environment?

Evolved stars, be they single red supergiants, or red giants in symbiotic star systems, lose mass. This impacts both their evolution and the environment around them. We seek to use high resolution techniques in OI and spectroscopy to better understand these processes.
