News

  • May 2022: Graduate student Thomas Gaudin has graduated with an MS!

    He will be attending a PhD program in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Penn State. Congratulations!!!

  • April 2022: Our research group has been awarded a LEAPS-MPS grant from the National Science Foundation! The grant will support two years of research into symbiotic stars and other interacting binaries.
  • December 2021: For the past three months our group has participated in the HyperSpace Challenge. We learned about customer interaction and presented our proposal for sensor synthesis for space domain awareness.
  • October 2021: Our research paper on long term changes on the surface of the red supergiant AZ Cyg has been published in the Astrophysical Journal.
  • June 2021: Our research group has contributed to a recently published Nature paper on the Great Dimming of Betelgeuse!
