Some Online Physics Resources
Many answers to physics questions can be found in the Usenet
Physics FAQ.
(FAQ is an acronym for Frequently Asked Questions.)
The page also has links to other online resources, such as
the Relativity FAQ (questions pertaining
primarily to relativity), Scientific American's Ask the Experts,
and other question and answer pages.
Be sure to search the Cornell
archive of the newsgroup sci.physics.research
for answers to other
questions that you may have, which were not answered in any
of the other forums.
Many message boards specific to physics and math
questions, INCLUDING HOMEWORK HELP,
can be found at
Physics Forums
.
There are many resources and news items at
PhysLink.com
.
There is a full-sized
free physics textbook
available on the web, authored by Christopf Schiller.
It has an electromagnetism chapter, of course.
For particle physics: a graphical introduction
and tutorial is available at The Particle
Adventure
.
Thank you to Paul Arendt if New Mexico Tech for letting me borrow his physics
resources web-page.
