NMT Physics Adjunct Faculty Policy

Adjunct Faculty status in the physics department can be recommended
for one or more of the following reasons:

1) The individual is currently working with one or more of our student
on their degree program (e.g. serving on a graduate committee or as
a research advisor.)

2) The individual is or will be teaching a course in the department in the
coming academic year.

3) Additional reasons such as: the individual is closely working with 
regular faculty members, departmental post-docs, etc.  These reasons
will be evaluated on a case by case basis by a committee of the whole.
