raduffix -- make corrections to Universal Format radar files
raduffix uf_data_file
Raduffix attempts to fix errors in data that follows the Universal Format radar tape conventions. At the present time the program attempts to fix only errors known to occur; mainly errors concerning record length. Raduffix can work on files that do or don’t contain rtape headers. The corrected file is sent to stdout. Rtape headers are included, so that the files can be read by raduf.
The program is general enough such that any future error may be corrected with this program with the addition of a few routines. Currently the program dies upon several errors that are possible but haven’t been observed.
