cdfvlim −− sets data beyond specified limits to the bad data value
cdfvlim field_name1 lower_limit1 upper_limit1 ...
Cdfvlim accepts a common data format file on the standard input and writes a modified common data format file to the standard output. Elements of the variable fields "field_name1", "field_name2", etc., that exceed the specified limits for each field are set to the bad data value.
