cdfclaus - convert CLAUS data to Candis format

Cdfclaus converts CLAUS composite infrared brightness temperature data (see http://badc.nerc.ac.uk/data/claus/) to Candis format. The brightness temperature, translated from the CLAUS 8 bit format by their formula, are deposited in the variable field "temp". Bad data are indicated by a brightness temperature greater than 340 K. The program automatically detects whether the data are low or high resolution (0.5 or 0.3333 degrees) and adjusts accordingly. The year, month, day, and hour are included as variable fields. Data are rearranged so that the latitude increases from the south pole northward rather than vice versa.
