EPIC2001 Meeting, Socorro, NM, 13-14 Jan 2001

The purpose of this meeting is to hash out various scientific and logistic issues having to do with the field phase of EPIC2001, which is now tentatively scheduled for 1 Sept. - 15 Oct. 2001.

Here is some useful information:

• Socorro is about 120 km S of Albuquerque of Interstate 25 in the Rio Grande Valley. Here is a map of Socorro which shows the general layout of the town. Here is another map, which shows where the NM Tech campus is in the city. Finally, here is a map of the campus. The meeting will be in Workman 101 at the east end of Workman Center. We will also have small conference rooms available for breakout sessions.
• Here is a list of motels available in Socorro. I would recommend either the Holiday Inn Express or the Super 8 Motel. Both are near the north end of town. The Holiday Inn Express is a few hundred meters from the north I-25 exit on the left. To get to the Super 8, make an immediate right turn after getting off I-25 at the north end of town. Please make your reservations directly.
