Proposals for EPIC2001

This page has links to proposals submitted in support of the EPIC2001 program. All are being handled by NSF, though NOAA investigators will receive funding (if approved) from NOAA. The list of links is somewhat incomplete at this point. Also, the ocean bundle is being handled as a ``real bundle'', i. e., one large proposal, rather than a ``virtual bundle'' as for the others.

ITCZ Bundle

ABL Bundle

• ABL Observations in the Eastern Equatorial Pacific from NOAA P-3 Aircraft for EPIC2001 -- Nick Bond, NOAA/PMEL.
• Large-eddy simulation of the cross-equatorial ABL evolution in EPIC2001 and comparison with airborne and shipboard observations -- Chris Bretherton, University of Washington.
• Autonomous aircraft observations and analysis of cross-equatorial ABL evolution during EPIC2001 -- Steve Esbensen, Oregon State University.

Stratus Bundle
