REVIEW OF PREVIOUS FORECAST

Monster hurricane Juliette continues to dominate the EPIC area.
Juliette has continued to rapidly strengthen and has remained nearly
stationary overnight. This very dangerous hurricane is now a strong cat
4 with winds of 145 mph and estimated central pressure of 936 mb. She
may make it to cat 5 today, becoming one of the strongest hurricanes
ever in the east Pacific.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

She has been nearly stationary the past 12 (Image 1)
hours but NHC still has her moving slowly west west-northwest at 3 mph.
An outermost feeder band or convergence line has formed along 95 W and
extends from the coast offshore to 8N. HUX is currently experiencing
heavy rain squalls and they may last all day. None of the numerical
models has Juliette retrograding and we hope they're right...she is
supposed to move more to the northwest...but she seems to have her own
mind. Weather to remain unsettled over the EPIC area the next few days
with perhaps another easterly wave to 95W by Wednesday...apparent in
clouds in western Carribbean today...assumming Juliette starts to move
on.
