REVIEW OF PREVIOUS FORECAST

Rained all night here at HUX. Got up early to fly an ITCZ mission in the P3.
Mrning sat pix showed good convection right offshore and further south
between about 8-10N.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Very convective in many regions of the P3 flight. Lots of good radar and
coordination with C130 was excellent. A bit beat now so will update tomorrow
when I can do a better overview of the satellite data.

Satellite pix show strong swirl just ne of HUX. Likely a TD....
Looks very impressive in the sat pix (Image 1).

This explains the SW winds of 18-22 knots at low levels from dropsondes
on all the west side flight legs!

DISCUSSION

More manana....too beat after a full day P3 flight....

SUMMARY

Sunday - successful P3 and C130 ITCZ flight
Monday - both a/c/ down - get ocean probes late in day...we hope
Tuesday - TBD - trial ocean probes on C130 possibly
