the weak vorticity center that was moving into our area dissipated overnight and
there is now no trace of it on the NHC 850 streamline chart and only a small
hint of positive vorticity on the Wisc 850 cloud winds chart. had a boomer with
heavy rain last night here for about one hour around 10:30 pm. There is some weak
activity in a N-S arc along 107W, but that's too far west for the a/c.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Very quiet in terms of convective activity. Lots of fair weather Cu around.
Early in the am, there appeared to be land breeze convection either side of
central america (Image 1).
